About a month or so ago our basement decided that it would be ok to leak water up from the floor boards. A section of our carpet was wet so we pulled it up and tried to dry it:
A few weeks later it started to smell, so we had to cut a hole in the carpet:

We called about five companies to come out and give us an estimate on waterproofing our basement so we won't have wet floors.
We finally chose one and they came on Friday to destroy our basement.
Here they are digging a trench through the closet of one of our bedrooms:
Laying pipe:

Re-concreting the floor.
Here are the rest of the pictures if you are interested in what they did:
Now all we have to re-stud, drywall, paint, and put down new flooring.
