I miss my kitties!!!

Ipod

So, I went out and bought myself an Ipod classic because my ipod was lost/stolen during the summer and I miss it. I was going to get a nano, but found out that it would be cheaper if I got a refurbished classic (80gb...the nano would be only 16gb). My last ipod was refurbished, and it is in perfect condition (since refurbished with Apple means "something happened to the box, or the box was opened" because they do not fix ipods), and especially with the warranty, I feel completely comfortable getting a refurbished ipod from the Apple store for a great price. So I have my new Ipod (it's silver) and I just need to find a cute case to go with it. I am excited to have an ipod back (especially now I can listen to it on our drive back to Virginia...)

New Hampshire

Tomorrow will make us have been in New Hampshire for a week. I am ready to come home, but we still have 2 days here, and then we are going to Connecticut for two days. It's just hard because we are travelling and staying at various people's houses, and it's not fun being places when people get cranky and sick and are busy. And this is the first time I have had a minute by myself. I'm ready to get back to my own pets (not all the others I have come into contact with), and my own bed (not the blow-up bed or sofa bed). I especially want my own shower. I just don't feel clean using other people's showers...

We have visited with many people: Nathan's immediate and extended family, Nathan's childhood friends (...and then all they talk about is their childhood for hours and hours, days by days.... - though I am glad he got a chance to see them), Nathan's sister's bridesmaids, friends families, etc....

This was a good trip, I just think if it was shorter, it would have been better...

Christmas

So I had a pretty good Christmas. Nathan and I celebrated with Madre and Marty on the 21st. We had a yummy dinner and got some nice things: music krinkles, snowflake dishes, shirts (for Nathan) and some new jackets for me.
We then drove up to New Hampshire and had Christmas with Nathan's parents and family. I got some snowman decorations, a sewing kit (hopefully I will be able to finally figure out my sewing machine), some Christmas pjs, and Nathan got some shirts.

So I love when I show up at my elementary school for my two lessons and no kids show up. Apparently today they went swimming and no one had the courtesy to tell me. So here I am sitting at the school for a wasted hour with nothing to do because I teach on the stage and I have to stay here in case any kids show up. Sigh. At least my phone has the internet...
