Two beautiful trees planted! Still need to work on the flower beds and eventually the grass.

Clearly making progress, but still a ways to go!

what type of plant?

Can anyone identify these plants for me? I thought the bottom one is mint. It sort of smelled minty-ish. I have no idea what the top one might be.

Stupid washer

Our house came with a washer and dryer, but we had our own in storage. The movers moved the old dryer out of the house, so I could hook up my new one. The washer, on the other hand, has its hoses on so tight I can't get them off. The wrench I have doesn't open wide enough to go around the nozzle. Frustrating! I want to get my washer out of the middle of the laundry room and into its spot so I can do laundry, set up the rest of the room!
That is my rant.

Moving Day

Moving Day was yesterday. Now my house is full of too many boxes and too much stuff. I took off today and tomorrow to unpack and (hopefully) purge a bit.

House update

Love the house, just have been too busy this past week to really enjoy it. The movers are coming tomorrow, so we will have all of our lovely things, and then I will post some pictures and tell all about the great house.

For now, here is the before front:

It has been spruced up a bit, and there will be more to come.

Nats

Go Nats! Well, they actually lost on Tuesday when we went, but oh well. Don't you just love our Nats gear? It was also t-shirt Tuesday so we got free t-shirts!

Squash Fries

Peep and cut a squash.

Cover pan in cooking spray. Place squash, sprinkle with salt and chili powder, and then coat with more cooking spray.
Cook 450*for 9 minutes, flip and then cook for 9 more minutes.

Delicious! (and healthy!) They were eaten so fast that I didn't have time to take a picture of the finished product!!

We paired the fries with Turkey Ranch burgers on the grill!

Easter

I went out to eat with Marty, Madre, and Summer. Poor Nathan had to work (as a tour guide) and couldn't go with us. Food was delicious!

Go Nats!

Last Saturday Nathan and I went to the Nats vs Sox exhibition game. It was a fun time, except for all the snobby Red Sox fans (and there were tons) who were being crazy. We're in DC, you should root for the home team, not a team that is so far away. Of course the Sox won, but it is still fun to go to the games (and it doesn't hurt that tickets are so cheap!)

Me decked out in my Nationals' gear.

Nathan hates when I get trigger happy.
