Saturday part 2

Saturday night we went to SERENDIPITY3! They weren't technically open yet, but we got in to the friend's and family opening because we talked to the lady that morning.

Mmm...frozen hot chocolate...Nathan and I got the oreo flavor and it was soooooo good.

Marty and Madre got the nachos.

The inside:

So yummy! It will be a while before we go back because I bet it will be crowded for a while!

Saturday part 1

Madre and I went out on an adventure on Saturday morning.

We went to Georgetown and visited the only house pre-1766 standing in Georgetown. It had beautiful gardens.

Then we went to Georgetown Cupcake. We got the free flavor-of-the-day, Banana Split. YUMM!

And also picked up a half dozen to take home.

We also went to Sprinkles for some cupcakes :)

We found the location for Serendipity 3! We knew that they were training this weekend, so we knocked on the door to see if they would train on us, and they told us to come back that evening at 9pm.

They let us in for a minute:

After Georgetown we went to Vienna and went to the petstore. They had these cool looking African Tortoises:

Madre also looked at fish:

After a stop at the dog store, we went home, and I gave Maestro is Sprinkles cupcake (which he devoured!)

Memorial Day weekend - Friday

On Friday, Nathan went to hang out with a friend, and I went to hang out with Marty and Madre, while Maestro hung out with Bella.

We went to the nursery so I could get a new plant:

Then we went to Smoothie King and Salsaritas for dinner, before a trip to Target.

Here is Maestro with his rain boots. Sometimes he will not walk in the wet grass.

Pups in the Park

Last month, we went to Pups in the Park. A few times a year the Nationals allow dogs to come to the baseball game, and they give away free stuff. It was a very good time, and can't wait to go again!

Maestro got to wear his jersey, and Bella was sporting team colors :)

Taking a picture with the mascot:

Hey look! I'm at the baseball game!

Happy family :)

Maestro and Bella were exhausted afterwards:

Such a sweet puppy:

Welcome, Maestro!

Day 4 of trip

Day 4 was 6 Flags!

Not terribly impressed with 6 Flags Atlanta. Very much prefer Disney World, or even Busch Gardens.

It rained on and off all day, but the kids had a good time.

Day 3 of trip

Finally getting around to finishing.

Day 3 was our performance day. We woke up, had breakfast, and then went to the Jewish Breman Jewish Home for a concert.

We had an interesting time, as we thought they had stands, and they thought we were bringing stands, so the kids had to end up taping their music to the back of chairs, the podium, or on a plastic tree. They were very flexible, and the concert was enjoyable. After, the kids all pushed wheelchair-ers back to the elevators.

After our concert, we went to the World of Coke, where we got to taste coke products from all over the world, including my favorite Melon Soda!

Then we had lunch at Hard Rock Cafe.

Then we went to our competition

Afterwards we went back to the hotel and chilled.
